We are a family-owned and operated business serving the Bristol County area for over 40 years.

Here is the story of how Stan and Paul's began.

Paul was fresh out of the service and moved to New Bedford to get married and find work. He met his partner, Stan, while doing refrigeration work and they started their business together in 1955 in a basement.

Stan & Paul's became well-known in the community for its friendly and helpful sales staff, quality brand-name appliances and outstanding repair service. They adopted the motto "The House that Service Built", which expressed their values of family and customer service.

After two moves in New Bedford, Paul and Stan finally purchased the sales location at 275 Rivet Street in 1966. In 1971, we purchased our current larger sales location in North Dartmouth.

Paul's two sons and daughter continue the family tradition of excellence in quality and service.
