Replace my old dishwasher of 19 years. I like the stainless interior and the finger resistance stainless door.The 3 shelf are a nice feature. Trying to get use to the new shelf, slot different then my old one.Two things I dislike are you can't see the control once you start a load, the countertop cover it up.There is no latch lever to open, just pull on the door. Minor things.Time will tell .

We have been using this new dishwasher for about a month, and it works great. It is super quiet . . . you cannot tell it is running even when standing within 5 feet of it. It cleans the dishes well and has well-designed racks for loading various types of dishes. I did the installation myself, and it was a simple job. The instructions are clear and easy to follow.

Dishwasher doesn™€™t clean or dry

I™€™ve had this dishwasher for over 3 weeks. I™€™ve run the cycle three different times. The first cycle took about three hours to complete. I did not time the other two but they take a while. My dishes were totally wet, including the glass dishes when the cycles completed. I tried the troubleshooting suggestions in the manual but they did not work. This last cycle I had dishes that was still dirty as if I had just put them in there. I noticed this when I first used the dishwasher and I was going to return it but when I looked up the return policy, it said that a return needed to be initiated within 48 hours. Well, my dishwasher was still in the box 48 hours later, so I don™€™t really agree with that return policy. You have to give people time to get it installed and run a few cycles. I should have looked at the reviews on this one because several other reviews mention about the dishwasher, not drying the dishes.

We've put up with this unit since November/2023. A full wash cycle takes approx.4+ hrs. & things come out wet. Technician could not correct this. We gave up & just used it. Now, June /24 the bottom rack wheels are shot. They are just cheap plastic and squeal & bind. They don't support the rack properly & it falls into the door cavity if pulled all the way out. Customer service was to send new wheels to arrive in 5-7 days but never came. Tel. cust. service & was told they don't have any wheels to send. This was the 2nd. time cust. serv. lied to me. They'll say anything to get you off the phone. First time was booking the above tech. apptmnt. Not only that I found out this is a chronic problem with this model. Also the top rack is borderline useless. Dinnerware is held in place by prongs that don't allow proper cleaning (perpetual staining) & items come out wet at the end of the cycle. I've removed the rack & use the basket. The 3rd rack lowers the 2nd. rack to the point you can't put taller cooking utensils (spatulas/spoons etc.) in the basket as it blocks the middle spray head from operating. I also found out this model is a reconfiguration of an older model. My suggestion is move on to another brand & in particular don't waste time & money on this model.

I bought this dishwasher to replace the original dishwasher from 1963 so I expected to see a big difference but I haven't. I use the heavy wash cycle because normal wasn't cleaning my dishes and even using heavy I end up washing 1/4 of what I put in the dishwasher. I rinse everything to point of it almost being clean and still comes out with dirty dishes. The control on top panel is extremely hard to use, I can't just touch the start pad but I have to rub and rub it to get it to turn on and then rub it and rub it to get it to show close. Not sure how long this will last as it's already showing an indent on the start pad. I have many Frigidaire products and have been very happy with the brand until now.

Quiet but difficult/confusing installation directions

The dishwasher is very quiet. The installation instructions were difficult to understand. Write out the directions because your pictures do not make it clear. I never found out what the small gray Phillips head plastic piece is for (not labelled on the directions but looks like up and down but to what). Frustrating not being able to top anchor the device. The anchor strap is too high on both sides of the U-shaped bracket and the metal indention is too thick to go for an undermount. Would have been nice to include a straight undermount bracket. Side mounts show and are inaccessible with the cabinet seal. Wiring was originally confusing since it was outside the metal electrical box (wiring was inside the bottom of the washer). Flush mount is so tight that one cannot see the washing status of the machine (cannot view the timer or the cycle lights).

3rd Times a Charm

My new counter depth refrigerator freezer works great. Unfortunately it was the third refrigerator I had delivered as the first one was a standard, and the delivery man said they were not able to get it in my kitchen. The second one was a counter depth, which was delivered, the delivery man did not take any of the plastic off and by the time I got the refrigerator free of plastic the control panel quit working. Evidently it was stuck in sabbath mode or some strange thing. The third one the delivery men were excellent. They took all the plastic off for me. They got it all set up And today it is working fine. I do have one slight complaint that it™€™s difficult to arrange. The trays in the door and sprite has decided to make their 2 L bottle taller than anyone else™€™s so it does not fit in the door. But I love the icemaker and water in the door is great .
