It's only been a few months but so far, so good. I've had 4 of these over the past 8 years. It seems that 2 years is about all I get out of these dehumidifiers before the coils start to freeze up. I doubt quality is going up so my expectations are low for this latest purchase. Last chance Frigidaire, please raise my expectations and your quality standards.

We love this brand for our dehumidifier. It is the only brand that lasted more tha 1 year. We had our last one for about 8 years and are praying this one lasts at least that long also. The only thing we liked better about the previous Frigidaire Dehumidifier is that there was a little slot on the bottom of the bucket to help get it out to empty it. It also helped to carry the bucket out to dump. So far it has been working great.

I've been using the Frigidaire FFAD5034W1 dehumidifier for about 2 months now, and overall, I'm satisfied with its performance. This 50-pint unit does an excellent job pulling moisture out of my basement, bringing the humidity down from a muggy 70% to a comfortable 45-50% range. The good: Quiet operation - quieter than my old GE unit Easy-to-read digital display shows current humidity levels Auto-shutoff when the tank is full prevents overflow Energy Star certified Tank is easy to remove/empty/clean Controls are straightforward and user-friendly Effectively handles spaces up to 3,000 sq ft as advertised Room for improvement: Takes a little longer to reach the target humidity than I expected Bottom line: This Frigidaire unit gets the job done reliably without breaking the bank. It's not the fastest or most feature-packed dehumidifier on the market, but it consistently operates efficiently. For now, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a mid-range dehumidifier. The actual test for me is about longevity. Will this dehumidifier remain functional and reliable for more than 1 or 2 years after being turned off and stored for the winter? I™™ve had experience with a few that just didn™™t make it. I understand nothing lasts forever, but with today™™s engineering, I would expect a dehumidifier that is kept clean and used in normal conditions to last a minimum of 5 years or longer. We will see.

I did a lot of research before making this purchase. I have a 2000 square foot basement and this model handles it with ease. It™™s quiet and pulls a lot of moisture quickly. Highly recommended!!

I purchased this as a replacement to another dehumidifier that stopped working after about 5 years. This model Frigidaire was recommended by a family member who's had good prior experience and reliability with this product. We've also had good outcomes with other Frigidaire products, so we trust the brand. It returned our basement to the desired comfortable humidity right away. We like the ability to adjust the fan speed to control the volume as needed. It is very quiet on the low setting. Easy to set up and operate.

We had a frigidaire dehumidifier for several years. We then moved and took it with us but needed another for our very large basement. Tried another brand. Removing the condensation tank was hard! Many spills! A second frigidaire was the answer. Easy to remove the tank and works like a champ! Highly recommended!

I have owned Frigidare appliances for years and my last Frigidare dehumidifier lasted 14 years. No issue ever and only cleaning the air filter monthly during seasonal running. I again purchased a Frigidare 50 pint unit and it works great and the price was very competitive to other models. For the price point there was no other choice but the Frigidaire unit I purchased from my local appliance store.

This is my 2nd Dehumidifier. My first one (not the same brand) started freezing up on me after 1 year. I am PRAYING this one does not do that. From many reviews, on different brands, that I have read, this seems to be the thing dehumidifiers end up doing. For now, everything is running great, and I am impressed. My humidity level is perfect. Lets hope this one lasts at least 5 yrs :)

So far, the dehumidifier does an excellent job removing moisture from my basement. The bucket has a large capacity, and the window in the front makes it really easy to see if the bucket needs to be emptied.

This Frigidaire unit has been running in my basement over a week. It is much quieter than my previous unit and within a day lowered the humidity level to 50%. It took a few more days and now I have the humidity down to 45%. My previous unit struggled to get the basement humidity to 55%. I have a hose connected to it that drains into my sump. Since it is Energy Star rated, I qualified for a rebate from my local utility. So far, I'm very satisfied with this unit.

Only had this for a month so far but it's working quite well. Saved my apartment from molding and reduced the mildew smell significantly. I like that it runs on high quieter than my GE dehumidifier and on the low setting I can have it running in the same room without it being a bother. The only downside is how much energy it can eat if you leave it on all day, and the size. It's a big and heavy rig, granted, it holds 50 pints.

Well done Frigidaire employees. This is my fourth humidifier and my first one from Frigidaire which shames all the others. Easy to unload and easier to reload. Three speeds which means it can put me to sleep slowly, normally or knock me out quickly if I have an early morning.
