Works as advertised. Cooled down quickly and has held temperature as we have slowly to fill it up. With the strong shelves and shelfs on door there is enough to organize so thinks are easily accessable.

So far, so good. The freezer is roomy and quiet. Keeps my food frozen evenly, even with the fluctuating temperature in the basement. Previous freezer sweated with changing temps, causing ice build_up. I don't have that problem with this model.

It is what I hoped for when I ordered it, sight unseen. It is roomy, shelves can be arranged to suit my needs, appears to be easy to clean. I ordered the stainless finish and it looks like the pictures, so I'm satisfied (my kitchen is mostly all stainless steel). Seems to be doing a good job keeping things frozen. I've only had it a few weeks so I hope it continues to perform as I hoped.

I never owned an upright , self defrosting , garage freezer. I had a small chest freezer that died after 3 years. I couldn™™t reach the bottom and frozen food rad hard to locate and remove from the chest. The new upright freezer is easy to get to, things are all in plain view, and hold much more frozen food. And I don™™t have to defrost it! I should have bought the new freezer many years ago!

When our old freezer died we researched replacement models for a reliable freezer that had dimensions allowing it to be placed in our basement. This model was narrow enough to get into the basement. And it has about 15% larger capacity than our old one. I™™ve been closely monitoring the temperature with a wireless thermometer and I am very pleased with the narrow temperature fluctuation around our desired temperature. So far totally frost free. Very quiet operation.

This is a very nice freezer. It is very quiet and does not run all of the time. The inside is very roomy and the door cubbies and shelves are lined up to maximize the best use of space. I like that there is a light that tells you if the freezer is on or not. I have nothing bad to report on this freezer.

My chest freezer decided to die on us. Lost most everything. I knew when I had to.get a new one I wanted a upright freezer. Getting older and harder to reach in bottom was a challenge. And never knew what we had. I researched the 2 top brands and frigidaire had a alarm, outside led green light to show it's working. Led lights inside, great space and great reviews. Definitely recommend.

We replaced a 20 cu. ft. unit that was about 25 years old. We went with this 16 cu. ft. freezer and found that it had more than enough capacity to move all the frozen food over. We are very pleased and love the new features. Would definitely recommend it.

I waited around all Friday on the promised delivery date. Only I never received a call the day of. I called and was given a run around-no information on my delivery. No one could tell me when I would get my freezer or why it hadn™™t been delivered. No one knew where the issue was. I had to hound Frigidaire about my order and they never gave me any answers. No apologies. The worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Loved this freezer until I didn't. Bought just over 3 years ago, and loved the features like interior light.Well a few days ago we heard it beeping. Just had the appliance repair guy say the compressor is shot, and isn't working. To replace it was going to be over 1150 dollars. Which is 30% more than what we paid for the thing brand new. There is no way a 3yr old freezer should be doa. Maybe you guys could try putting better parts in these things?

Brought it home myself and let it sit up 24 hours before unpacking and plugging it in. Didn't take long to get to temperature. So far it's doing a good job. Chose Frigiaire because I have another Frigidaire freezer that has been doing the job for 6 years. Hope for many more.

This sixteen cubic foot upright freezer has been great for our household of five. We are keeping this freezer in our garage as additional space for storing breastmilk, bags of frozen vegetables, and meat. My one criticism is the constantly on, green, LED at the base of the unit. I'd like to have the option to disable the LED. Overall, we are happy with our purchase and would consider a Frigidaire appliance in the future.
