My favorite freezer died and I tried to get it repaired however that didn™€™t work. I went on adventure in looking for a new freezer. I go to your usual Lowe™€™s and Home Depot and they were trying to sell me the same freezer but it was an older model than the one I found at Best Buy of which the price was right. The new crazy charge is for taking the appliance out of the box and plugging it up for you at your house or apartment ??

So far the freezer is doing great, love the design and the functionality except for one aspect; the shelving. Not sure who thought glass shelving as opposed to heavy duty wire shelving was a good idea, news flash™€¦..IT™€™S NOT!! We noticed that glass shelves started to sag or bow in the middle when any mediocre weight was put in the middle. Even tried to put the ™€œheavy stuff™€ on the sides of the shelf; still had the bowing. Recommendation; use heavy duty wired shelves instead of glass. Doesn™€™t matter kf the wire is more expensive, you™€™ll pass it onto the buyer anyway.

Ran into issues with door after delivery. Placed call and got a service request placed. I thought it was great and quick. Well they never showed up, waited all day now it randomly got rescheduled for the next week without notice. Ugh worst experience ever. Went from being super excited to should I just return this and not deal with fridgidare. Picked them because I loved our last one. Was debating purchasing another one. Beware of any service you may need, hopefully you shouldn™€™t but if you do prepare for a terrible experience

They were all Frigidaires, they all worked well but we love the LED lighting in this one as well as the door handle which makes it so much easier to open. Goodbye to broken fingernails trying to open doors with just an indentation in the side of the door. Sound goofy? Maybe, but try it. You'll like it!!!!!

Frigidaire FFUE2024AN Freezer - Worst Purchase Ever

Bought this Frigidaire freezer and it broke within a week. Lost $1000 worth of food. Home Depot would not return/replace. Fridgidaire would not authorize a replacement unit and instead replaced all electronics. 3 months later the compressor failed. Again Frigidaire will not authorize a replacement unit and will only repair. These units are junk. They will not replace a lemon with a new unit only that would be reliable only keep repairing the shotty equipment they manufacture.

Great unit. very nice design and cool aesthetics. If i had one complaint, the door was a chore to change pull/hinge. The instructions were helpful tough. Make sure you disconnect all electronic connections and use a level to ensure the door aligns vertically so you get a good seal.

Bought this garage freezer after my old 14 yo Frigidaire died, unexpectedly. The charcoal color is pretty, (won't show dirt) and the glass adjustable shelves keep everything organized.
