When your main oven goes out 7 days before you're hosting 22 people for Turkey Lunch, you make the quick decision to replace your 16yo Frigidaire Professional oven with another. The peace of mind of many more years of satisfaction is worth the inconvenience of scrambling for the install. The power cord conduit was larger than the previous model so it made it a bit dicey but we worked around it.

I bought this because it has knobs in stead of touch screens The previous unit (not Frigidaire) with touch screen was difficult to work with any moisture etc on hands and had to have the brain replaced twice. Less electronics the better. This oven looks great and works great as well!

When you use convection roast option, it doesn't show you temperature changes on the display. You have to rely on a beep that goes off when desired temperature is reached. The beep is so faint that if you have any other noises in the kitchen you will never hear it - I never noticed it for about a month of heavy use. The manual is not specific to this model it is misleading as it tells you that 'Preheating' message should be displayed - it doesn't and I was told this is by design! Whoever engineered this deserves to be fired! I previously had a GE oven and it was showing the temp changes and had a loud sound when desired temp was reached. In addition, GE temp display showed consistent temp (after preheating) through entire cooking process> Preheating was very quick and results were much better. Not sure what happens inside this model as the temp display always shows you only requested temp. When the technician put the temp probe in, we could see than the temperature was fluctuating for at least 30 min and never really settled. This design is so flawed, I would not recommend this product.

The wall oven is wonderful. It does take some learning how to use because it has so many features: Bake, Air Fry, Slow Cook, Convection Bake and Roast, Broil, and Steam Bake and Roast, as well as steam cleaning and self cleaning. Unless you are familiar with all these features, be sure to read the excellent manual for Wall Oven Use & Care. It is truly a fascinating experience to try the various ways that this wall oven can cook your food. My previous oven died after 20 years of use just as I was getting ready to bake cornbread for supper. It took me awhile to choose a new one and I am very pleased with my choice. It does amazing things!

Such nice oven™€¦it is very accurate and has many options that I didn™€™t have with my previous oven. I just used the air fryer function a couple of days ago and we loved it. And t is larger than our other oven and it fits perfectly too without having the need to make adjustments to the cabinet.

The oven preheats quickly, & the oven looks handsome. There was a problem with oven door after opening it twice, though; it would no longer close. A Frigidaire tech needed to come to the house to fix the problem, which they did relatively quickly, & now the door seems to work fine, without problems.

Just got this installed a few days ago. Immediately tried the airfry mode as I've never used one before. Definitely a learning curve. The outside was cooked well, but still a little uncooked on the inside. When I tried it again a few days later, I did decrease the temp by 25% like it recommended and it worked perfectly! Preheat is less than 5 minutes, love the dials as it's easy to select settings, and it's beautiful!The only complaint so far is how messy it gets. I had to buy a very large cookie sheet to put under the fry basket and you have to pull both out every time you load it up to avoid a mess. I keep getting crumbs down by the door opening/gasket area and it gets on my cabinets. Unsure how to fix this. Some complaints about the timer sound being too soft doesn't hold up. Yes, it's not as blaringly loud as my 1987 oven was, but plenty loud and gives 3 loud beeps once it's done. I can't wait to try all the settings and see how may things I can make in this new oven!

Convection Bake Confusion

On the Convection Bake setting, one would think the oven fan would always run, but it did not. It will continuously run on the Convection Roast setting. I called for service to have this checked. The technician arrived and verified the complaint. He called his technical assistance line and was told the control circuit board needed to be replaced. It was ordered and a week later replaced. The oven operated the exact same way. On the Convection Bake setting the fan would turn off after the oven reached temperature and stay off. On the Convection Roast setting it would run all the time. We consulted the manual, finding no reference to this feature's operation. The technician called back the technical support number and now was told this is normal operation. What a big waste of everyone's time. We are still not sure how this can be normal operation, since it is supposed to be the Convection bake setting and instead of the fan running continuously it operates the same as the Non Convection setting or regular bake setting. Can someone confirm the correct operation and inform support for the technicians and the customers? It would be a great customer service experience if someone from Frigidaire/Electrolux would actually reply to this issue. Especially since this is the second issue, I have had with these one-month-old appliances.

Works as expected, but very hard to use the 2 timers - touch sensitivity is very poor, display change lags far behind touching the pad, sometimes + continues to move fwd w/o stopping have to use - to stop. Have to change timer settings very slowly 1 min. at a time due to the long lag between touching & what's displayed. No way to continuously increase either.

Buyer Beware they refuse to stand behind their warranty. After looking online at other warranty issues they have a terrible reputation for their warranty service. Women, in other countries who don™€™t understand the product or the warranty that can™€™t even speak clear English refused to send me a Part covered under warranty After spending five hours yesterday, trying to resolve a warranty issue and the refusal of several different people to admit that I even had the item I decided Frigidaire warranty service is not worth the paper it™€™s written on. I told them and I™€™m telling everyone who reads this dealing with their warranty department is very difficult to deal with and I got absolutely nothing but excuses and reasons why they would not stand behind their product. They didn™€™t even believe I had the item. In all my life I™€™ve never dealt with a warranty department that had the attitude they had, or refused to stand behind their product. They asked me to send them a picture, and even after sending a picture of the item they still would not cover it. If I was willing to pay for the part, that was not right, they would send it, but they would not cover it under the warranty.
