Check the Knobs Potentially Dangerous.

I have an older model of this slide-in stove which has a known defect concerning the knobs. Check to confirm this is not an issue with this stove. In my case this oven was already in a home I purchased so I didnt know that leaning up against the front of the stove while cooking swiping across the knobs as you walk by pet paws and children can inadvertently turn on burners as the knobs rotate very easily. Ive had a couple burns had paper near the stove and later a pot holder catch fire. Its an island stove so easier to have random counter items too close. I researched the issue to discover there had been a recall. The recall repair was LG supplying a large sticker to affix to the front of the stove with instructions on how to turn on and off the safety lock feature. With a house of small children adolescence and pets I must always be vigilant that the stove is on lock whether Im the one who used it last or not. What if Im not home to ensure its locked? My personal fix for the safety of my family and my home is to save up to buy a new stove. This is also concerning about LG as a company to consider a sticker reminder a fix. Im assuming this has been corrected in subsequent models but its worth checking.

Manufacturing defect and bad costumer service

This has been the worst shopping experience I have ever had with LG.com. I ordered this new range in March for our kitchen renovation. Due to construction delays we were not able to install it until late April. When the range was finally installed we discovered that there was no mounting hole for the left front arm. When I contacted LG customer service I was told that they could only send the replacement part and that I would either need to repair it myself or hire a technician at my own expense. After more than an hour on the phone LG still refused to take responsibility for fixing a manufacturing defect. It was only after I disputed the charge with my credit card company that LG reached out and agreed to send an LG technician to inspect the issue. After using the range for a short time I noticed another problem while cleaning the inner glass panel of the oven door. There was a noticeable gap between the glass panels see attached photo. I contacted LG customer service again and they scheduled another technician visit. When the technician arrived he discovered that the oven door had been manufactured with only one glass panel even though it was supposed to have two. He installed the missing glass panel and corrected the gap. We are extremely disappointed with the quality control of this product. It is unacceptable that a brand-new appliance arrived with multiple manufacturing defects including a missing mounting hole and a missing glass panel in the oven door. Equally frustrating was LGs initial refusal to take responsibility for these issues and the amount of time and effort required on our part to get them resolved. Given the significant quality and service issues we have experienced we expected much better from LG and are very dissatisfied with both the product and the customer service we received.

Nice Oven Unfortunately Damaged

We ordered three items from LG. The oven was a disappointment as it came damaged though installation team tried to convince me otherwise. They offered me a small credit but no knowing the extent of the damage declined. The replacement had the same damage and rejected it. Now waiting for refund to occur which is going slowly.

Frustration

This purchase frustrated me because no one told us an induction stove needed induction pans and that it had to always be perfectly level for it to work and our house is built in 1890 and is not level so we battle the issue constantly .This stove will not work unless its perfectly level .
