I bought the new LG Washer/dryer tower last month but the washer was so low that I bought the pedestal but what a shame in the design. It comes with the grooves for a divider but you only get a basket which is a complete waste. When the basket is in you cant get to the back of the drawer so you lose space but when you take the basket out you have no way to help hold up anything you put in there AND you cant even put a standard size laundry detergent in there. What a waste of money.

A pedestal they are. Good storage space they are not. It appears that some intern made a brilliant decision to get rid of the in-drawer divider that previous models had and stuff a cutesy basket in there instead. Then another intern with zero design experience DESIGNED the basket which sits in the drawer width-wise and BLOCKS OFF 25+ of the space in the back of the drawer from being used. If you try to put anything behind it you have to pull the basket out to get to the space next time you pull the basket out anything behind it falls down into the forward space where the basket was sitting. Due to extremely sloppy design decisions the basket CANNOT be placed depth-wise and CANNOT be slid towards the back of the drawer to utilize the entire storage space. These baskets are getting filled with other donation items and sent out with the donation pile. Meanwhile LG says sorry even though the drawers have the proper molding built-in for a divider as with models past we DO NOT HAVE A DIVIDER for them to sell you. So Im stuck at the hardware store buying a piece of 3/8 wood panel cut to 21x9 to slide in the slot that is ALREADY BUILT-IN for the divider. And now I can use the full space of storage drawer for... you know actual storage. Disappointing to say the least that I have to hack an overpriced metal box so it can live up to what it was supposed to be able to do in the first place. But hey Im sure LG will send this to our development team to improve future products. Oh yay thats super helpful.

I purchased these a few months ago with my washer and dryer. They can about two weeks later. My Tide Oxi Woolite Dark and Shout spray are about 1/4-1/2 inch too tall to fit I can put in my leingerie bags and instruction booklet. LG advised me to lay on their side be careful of leakage or buy different detergents or smallsizes these were normal or only size availble. They also had me send pictures I guess they could not go to Walmart or Target and buy a bottle. Final offer- 15 off another LG product I wanted to trade mine for the new pedestal when they did a redesign to fit normal size bottles.

Great Companion to our LG Washer Dryer

The height of my overhead cabinets didnt allow a top loading washing machine so to take full advantage of the space we bought pedestals for our new front loader washer and dryer. They are a great complement to the washer and dryer allowing easier loading and unloading of clothes. In our case LG provided the perfect size pedestal to fit our overall height restrictions below our overhead cabinets. They look beautiful from the front unfortunately in our case we get more of a side view of the washer and the pedestal when entering our laundry room. You see too much of the bracket that attaches the two together. Wish the side view in our case was as beautiful and sleek as the front view. They are really great looking machines with the pedestals. The pedestals provide extra convenience and storage. We paid around $250 each on sale at the Home Depot which is a much better value than the regular price.

Missing dividers

I purchased the pedestals to go worry my new washer and dryer that replaced my old lg washer dryer and pedestals. I did not install three new set until about 5 months after my purchase of the pedestals which took a month to come in. I did not realize the new pedestals were supposed to come with the divider until a friend said something. Mine only came with a basket which is a really dumb design in and of itself because it takes up the majority of the drawer and you cannot get to whatever is behind the basket or if you push it back then whats in it. A better design wouldve been a basket that slides side to side. Anyway after spending $562 I am stuck now having to purchase the dividers since even though LG admits they shouldve come with my pedestals they only warrant missing parts for 30 days after purchase. ... so note to anyone doing a remodel open everything and check it as soon a you get it for missing parts otherwise youll be out of luck

Purchased a top of the line washer and dryer. When they were delivered the dryer was damaged and didnt work. It took me one full month and many many phone calls to finally get a new one. I still dont have confirmation that the extended warranty i purchased on the first one has been transferred to the new one. Terrible service and support. They worst i have every experienced.

How much can you say about a pedestal? It lifts the machine up so its easier to access great for bad backs and has extra storage at the bottom. Worth getting for any front loading washer and/or dryer.

The pedestals are great but the LG customer service was terrible. I was told to order stacking brackets and they were not needed so now Im trying to return them. That took 3cslls and Im still waiting on the email with the return mailing label. Also I was told that the pedestals would be delivered and installed but they were just dropped off. When I called back to inquire about the installation I was transferred around 6 times until on the 7 th call I asked to speak to a manager who told me that I shouldnt have been told that they would be installed. Aarrgghh Extremely frustrating And I bought a LG washer /dryer/pedestals and an LG tv. Ive spent a lot of money for my frustration. lol

The order included free install and haul away for the washer and dryer but magically did not include free install for the pedestals and had to pay the third-party freight/install company out of pocket to get the pedestals installed. Terrible experience.

Extremely disappointed that this draw does not fit flush to the machine. My last Whirlpool Duet drawer under the washer/dryer fit snug and flush without seeing screws with a huge space between drawer and machine that I am stuck with now. This cheapens the look totally. I can see all of the hardware connecting it. The drawer comes with a basket that can be removed however if I choose to go without the basket it did not come with the needed dividers that were meant for the slots that were present. My Whirlpool did. That would give me use of the true size of the drawer compared to the smaller basket. The drawer also sticks out further than the machine. Pretty disappointing all around. Especially for the outstanding price of $500 for the set. This poor design is true insanity without quality.

Ive had the LG all in one washer/dryer unit for approximately 3 weeks. I absolutely love it We are a busy family and this unit has been such a time saver for us. I love that I can fill the detergent and fabric softener and it will automatically dispense the amounts needing for the size laundry load. Ive also found that I can do larger loads of laundry after fully reading the instruction on how to properly place my laundry into the machine. This also insures that my laundry is fully dry at the end of the cycle it also helped with our laundry from being as wrinkled. And my top feature is the keep fresh it will keep your laundry smelling fresh if you forget your laundry in the unit which happens at my home often The LG app has also been very helpful. Having a QR code on the machine was very helpful in connecting the unit to the LG app. Once one the app you can change settings see how much time is remaining change the detergent and fabric softer amounts if you dont want the automatic setting. Overall I am extremely pleased with the unit as well as the LG app.

My LG washer and dryer was delivered a week ago. We are extremely happy with them. I normally do not like to order on line. However I ordered directly from LG and was extremely pleased with the results. Both products are very quiet. The delivery team was very good. Delivered on time removed old appliances swept the area and installed the new appliances.

I bought the big brother L.G. Wash and Dry Combo to pair up with the side kick. The combo is impressive as it senses your loads how dirty the clothes are and takes care of the rest with the AI Wash and Dry setting. If you dont trust the AI to take over your washing duties select from 15 other wash cycles. The little brother LG SideKick Pedestal Washer is cool. The on sale price of $300 its better to buy than the storage unit. The wife and girls like it for washing smaller loads and their undergarments that need a little more TLC or just need to be air dried. I how my drawers in the combo washer and dryer and let the AI setting figure out how dirty my drawers are. My wife said life is good. Happy wife happy life
